Snow Problem

Fazed by the heaviest snowfall in recent memory, we did close the school for two days but when the snow reappeared on Friday morning the spirit of the British bulldog kicked in and we were determined that the school should stay open.
It was truly a tremendous sight to see PNEU girls and their parents battling their way along the Drive. 35 girls arrived in all and, with a skeleton staff of six doughty teachers, we had a fantastic day, not all of which was spent out in the garden throwing snowballs and building miniature snowmen.
Well done to everyone who made it in – we were proud to be the only school in the area to be open.
