An independent girls' school in Hertfordshire, the PNEU is on a leafy avenue in Rickmansworth. We are a small girls-only Prep School catering for girls from Nursery to eleven years old.

With a gentle approach to our girls’ education, our students are offered the opportunity to develop in an unthreatening and secure environment. Girls are particularly drawn to the school when they see our huge garden and experience the friendly atmosphere that characterises our school in Hertfordshire.

At the PNEU, every day is Open Day and parents are welcome to drop in and see us at any time. You can see what a fantastic place the PNEU is for girls to come to school and gain the confidence to aim for the stars.

Message from the Head

The fact that this is the Spring Term seems something of a misnomer since there is no evidence of Spring whatsoever and all the daffodil bulbs that the girls planted in Science are buried under several inches of snow. Be that as it may, we are all thrilled to be back at school after the Christmas holidays and the girls continue to have tremendous fun outside in their wellies and winter coats.
